Learn about the Adinkra symbols of West Africa that are now found all over the world and their meanings and origins behind them.
Bring a bed sheet T-shirt or other cotton fabric to print with the symbols of these African people. A short lecture followed by the textile workshop, everyone will leave with the spirit of Africa.
Cost: SIU Students $20.00 Community $25.00
