Clay Topics is a demonstration and active art-making series focusing on various ways to create surface decoration onto a clay surface. Each session will focus on individual techniques of applying surface onto the clay and using learned skills to apply decoration style onto two hand-built plates. Take one or all three sessions to built your ceramics repertoire and plate collection. This series is opened to beginners or experienced makers.

Paper Stencils
This session will introduce the techniques of using colored slips with paper stencils. We using decorative scissors and paper punches to layer unique patterns and images onto the clay surface. Materials included are 5lbs of clay, all surface materials, and glaze and firings. Additional clay is available at the Craft Shop for $12/10lbs.
