Papermaking

Create handmade paper from start to finish using recycled materials. You will learn how to prep materials to create paper pulp using our Hollander Beater, design, and cast sheets of paper. This decorative paper can be used for stationary or other art projects. Feel free to bring in seeds, flower petals, or other items to add to your paper. We will have a variety of items to add extra details. A return visit will be required to pick up paper when dry. Materials are included.

Refund requests must be submitted one week before the start of the workshop via EMAIL only to craftshop@siu.edu. Refunds will not be given without an email request. The Craft Shop reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any workshop if needed.
