Handmade Paper: Ornaments & Gift Tags

Get ready for the holiday season by making handmade paper gift tags and ornaments. You will learn to prep materials to create paper pulp using our Hollander Beater, design, add string, glitter, and flower petals for extra details, and cast paper using a mold and deckle. We will use a paper mold to create shapes and make handmade gift tags and ornaments. A return visit will be required to pick up the paper when is dry. Materials are included.

This class and supplies were made available with a grant from the SIU Green Fee!

Refund requests must be submitted one week before the start of the workshop via EMAIL only to craftshop@siu.edu. Refunds will not be given without an email request. The Craft Shop reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any workshop if needed.
