Notes:
This wheel-throwing workshop is perfect for beginners! Learn the basics of throwing clay on the potter's wheel. Each week will focus on how to make a different form on the wheel from cups, bowls, and plates. The final class will focus on glazing and finishing. A return visit will be needed to pick up the final work after the glaze firing.
Clay is extra and can be purchased at the front desk. Clay- 5lb - $8 for students / $9 community. 10lbs $16 SIU Students, $18 Community, Amount required depending on size of projects.
Refund requests must be submitted one week before the start of the workshop via EMAIL only to craftshop@siu.edu. Refunds will not be given without an email request.
The Craft Shop reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any workshop if needed.
